My issue with my stock batteries was I was always killing them within a year.I do a lot of cooking on the truck.I have a slow cooker, microwave, toaster oven.And several other electronics that I run on my truck.I've tried AGM and lead acid batteries never got more than a year out of them.So I decided to try these out. So far, these batteries are fantastic.I bought four of them for the capacity to run.Everything I do not need all 4 start the truck. It used to be my APU would come on within fifteen to twenty minutes after shutting the truck off, now it only comes on when I turn it on for the AC. Im able to run the fans all night, two refrigerators and make coffee in the morning without ever having to turn the APU on and still have plenty of juice to start the engine. I have yet to see how these batteries and the heater perform in the cold but so far im impressed. The less the APU runs the less I spend in maintenance costs. I fully recommend these batteries, they are worth every penny.
I didnt need 4 of these batteries to start the truck but i wanted the extra 200Ah for my 2K watt inverter i have and the appliances i run. These batteries so far have been worth every penny. Before getting these batteries my apu would come on within 15 -20 min of shutting the truck off to charge the old batteries even when they were new.
Im able to run the fan on the apu plus 2 refrigerators all night get up make my coffee and still have plenty of power to start the truck and my APU never kicked on. Looking forward to seeing how the heater holds up in the winter and how these perform.
These batteries exceed anything I have ever seen. 2 of their Ionic Lithium 12V Group 31 | 3000 CA | LiFePO4 Heavy Duty Diesel Starter Battery. Will replace 4 NAPA 1100 cc batteries. The ability to turn them on and off when not in use is the greatest idea yet.
So far I like it. It is taller than the wet cell batteries I replaced. I have a battery cable that has some for fuse thingy and sits tall. I measured the clearance, while close it’s good. My boss has several trucks with them and they were fine last winter and that’s why I bought mine.
After waiting a week the new diesel start battery arrived with a dead cell and defective BMS. Waited another week to receive replacement which appears to have good cells and BMS but just installed yesterday with no start/runtime yet so time will tell. Plan to do YTube review on it eventually.
I've eliminated my battery issues since our truck has a lot of hotel loads while sitting and the previous lead acid batteries just didn't work long term.. Best solution that we've found and they are lightweight as well.
Just have a few weeks ,but the batteries are amazing, two batteries are cranking my 2018 Volvo D13 like nothing ,hope everything work like that for the next 5+ years,but so far is fully recommended.
