You can hook up Ionic deep cycle batteries in parallel, as many as needed. Unlike lead-acid batteries, which often lose usable capacity over time, Ionic Lithium Batteries maintain most of their rated capacity even after numerous cycles, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.

The Ionic deep cycle battery has a cycle life of 3,000 cycles or about ten calendar years. Its reliability ensures above-and-beyond performance and superior safety for each of its applications. Our LiFePO4 (lithium, not lithium-ion) batteries have a usable capacity of 99% compared to 50-60% for traditional lead-acid and AGM batteries. LithiumHub’s Ionic lithium batteries function in the widest range of temperatures. They have a discharge temperature range (Functional) of –20°C to 60°C (–4°F to 140°F). And a charge temperature range of 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). If batteries are too cold to charge, it automatically detects it.

At 12.5” (L) x 6.5″ (W) x 8.5” (H) and weighing only 27 lbs., the Ionic deep cycle 24V50-EP is 50% lighter but also twice as powerful in terms of power output than traditional lead acid or AGM batteries. Connectors: M6 screws allow you to install the battery in any direction, unlike a lead acid battery (which is fixed).
Ionic deep cycle batteries’ monthly self-discharge rate is 1-3%. Compare that to lead-acid batteries, which are about 30%. The max charge voltage is 29.2V, and the discharge cut-off voltage is 10.5V. The max charge current is 50A, and the max discharge current is 50A / 170A(3s). You can charge these batteries with solar chargers. You can also charge them with most traditional lead-acid chargers (the ones that don’t have “Desulfate” mode), as long as the current levels don’t exceed lithium battery charge specification. If you use a traditional lead-acid charger that reaches 28.8-29.2V, you can charge the battery fully. Chargers 27.2V and below will only charge the battery to 50% capacity or less.
