Ionic Lithium Deep Cycle 12 Volt 125Ah Battery
World Class Safety Features
Ionic Deep Cycle Lithium Battery 12V125-EP has 12 volts and a 125Ah capacity and is perfect for powering your deep cycle systems. Can be used as a starting – dual Lithium battery comparable to 900A cranking amps for 250hp engines. Ionic Deep Cycle has an internal microprocessor controlled battery management system (BMS) that monitors the key operational parameters during charging and discharging, such as voltages, currents and internal temperatures.
Ionic 12V 125Ah batteries used as starters batteries have been engineered to work with overcharging issues that different outboard marine motors have.” “Ionic 12V 125Ah batteries used as starters batteries will work with outboard motors including Mercury and Yamaha.”
Built for Long Lasting Reliable Power
The Ionic Deep Cycle Battery has a cycle life of 3,000 cycles or about 10 calendar years. Our lithium-ion batteries have a usable capacity of 99% compared to 50-60% for traditional lead-acid batteries]. LithiumHub Deep Cycle batteries function in the widest range of temperatures with a discharge temperature range (Functional) of –20°C to 60°C (–4°F to 140°F) and a charge temperature range of 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). Automatically detects if batteries are too cold to take a charge.
The Ionic Lithium Deep Cycle line has the best weight to power ratio on the market
At 12.55” (L) x 6.5″ (W) x 9.22″ (H) and weighing only 34.2 lbs., the Ionic Lithium Deep Cycle 12V125-EP has the best size to power ratio of any deep cycle battery on the market. Connectors: 3/8 UNC Threads allow the battery to be installed in any direction unlike lead-acid batteries which are fixed. Ionic Lithium Deep Cycle Batteries self-discharge rate per month is between 1-3% compared to lead-acid batteries which are about 30%. Max charge voltage is 14.6V and the discharge cut-off voltage is 10.5V. Max charge current is 80A and max discharge current is 100A / 350A(3s). Can be charged with solar chargers. Can be charged with most traditional lead-acid chargers that do not have “Desulfate” mode, provided the current levels do not exceed lithium battery charge specification. Using a traditional lead-acid charger that reaches 14.4-14.6 volts will allow the battery to be fully charged. Chargers that do not exceed 13.6 volts will only charge the battery to 50% capacity or less.

Do you have a lithium battery that can start a Mercury Verado 350. I have three of the ionic 125AH for my trolling motor and love them. I also have two lead acid batteries that run my graphs and are my starting batteries want to get everything onto lithium batteries

What can I say – I can say a lot. The first time out I fished a 9 hour tournament. We caught a keeper within the first 5 min and ran both livewell pumps all day long. On my boat I also run 3 units, 360 Mega and a radio have to have some music. After putting the boat on the trailer I checked the Ionic 125ah cracking battery and it was sitting at 58% enough to fish another full day tournament. At the ramp a few people were checking out the new boat and was really impressed with the live of all 4 Ionic batteries.
Thank You
Corey Bradley

Question
Ryan –
What type of charger do you use for these. I need one 125AH cranking battery at transom. Then I need two trolling motor batteries at bow for 24v ghost trolling motor.
I want to put a 3 bank on board charger on the boat to plug in and charge.
Your 4 bank only has 5’ whips could I extend that wire back to transom starting battery and only connect three banks?
Please advise

MK (verified owner) –
You can use the 4 bank charger and we have some kits to make cables longer. the 4 bank you can double up on the starter battery.

Question
Ron Moore –
I have heard of issues causing potential damage to the outboard alternator and/or regulator when the lithium battery is fully charged. I am very interested in eliminating my wet cell battery but am reluctant to move to Lithium without worry that I may damage my Mercury Optimax outboards charging system components. Can you offer any data or reassurance that this isn’t an risk?

MK (verified owner) –
The issues are the power spikes from the alternator over 15.2 volts that’s will shut down the battery. That issue will not happen whit our batteries.

Purchased Bass boat bundle with 125ah cranking battery and 3 each 50ah and charger. Plus a double battery tray and a single battery tray for 50ah batteries. Install was easy with new trays. Had to modify mounting bracket for charger to replace 3 bank dual pro. Replaced 4 group 29 Interstate deep cycle and old charger which removed 178 pounds from back of 2001 Ranger R83 with Yamaha HPDI 150. 125 cranks engine great and powers all onboard electronics. Two 50ah for trolling motor are great. Third 50ah running 126sv Garmin with Livescope at bow and 10” Lowrance HDS at console. If batteries last advertised life cycles this should be my last batteries since I’m 72 years old. Would recommend to anyone who is getting ready to replace old lead acid anchors. Service at Lithium Hub with Jeff is outstanding.

I purchased two of the Ionic 125AH blue tooth Li-ion battery’s a little under a year ago . I purchased them to create a large power station in my 86 VW Vanagon to power a mocha machine , pellet smokers, LED lighting for the purest of glamping comforts my mind can think of. Now I’m ordering two more 125AH batteries to create the same setup in my WW2 1946 Karr trailer . Setting up a system like this is very complex which is why the customer service and engineers helped me figure out the best solution for my application/power needs. The blue tooth app. Is very useful and easy to use as well. Thank you Jeff In customer service for helping me with all my questions and guiding me in the SAFE/right direction .

Starting a new year with my IONIC 125AMP cranking battery. It has been bullet proof, never letting me down. I run 2 Lowrance Live 12s, livewell full power all day and have never even had a glimpse of a problem. Just the best to be had. Cranking a Yamaha 250 HP SHO 4 stroke. Plus my IONIC trolling batteries are the absolute best.

This is the second 12V125EP purchased for my RV. While going down the road I charge the batteries from Victron Energy Orion-Tr 12 I 12-9 isolated DC/DC converter. I have both batteries wired in parallel. Before I connected both batteries, I partially discharged one of the 12V125-EP batteries to see how well the two batteries would balance. For the first few minutes, the fully charged 12V125-EP discharged at a rate of 25 Amps into the partially discharged battery. After about 5 minutes both batteries were balanced. Then I fully charged both batteries using a Progressive Dynamics 9245C charger / converter with a PD92201 remote charge pendant. The remote charge pendant manually controls the boost mode placing the charger at 14.6V, ideal for fully charging the 12V125-EP batteries while connected to power at a camp ground. The blue tooth app is used to monitor state of charge. Once the batteries are fully charged, my RV has a switch to disconnect the batteries from the charger / converter. These lithium batteries, unlike lead acid, have a very low self discharge rate. I have done a short term test not charging the two batteries for 2 weeks. This is to test how well balanced both are. After 2 weeks, both batteries are at 99% charge.
Amazing!
With 80% DOD, this is like having 400 AH house batteries compared to the old lead acid.

I bought three of the Ionic 125 ah batteries for my bass boat, three battery trays and the 4-bank charger. I’ve got to say I’m very impressed from the quick shipping, expert packaging, and all around support for the products. The blue tooth app is a great tool for keeping track of your batteries. The weight I saved in my boat is just plain crazy. Haven’t got a single negative thing to say about Ionic products. Can’t recommend them strongly enough.
