The Ionic GenBox 1800B is a 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery pack built to expand your GenBox 1800. Connect it with the included parallel cable and your available capacity nearly doubles. Nothing else changes — same outlets, same controls, same unit you already know. Add one pack for a longer outage window, or more as your needs grow.
What You’ll Need
The GenBox 1800B is an expansion battery, not a standalone power station. It has no AC outlets, no USB ports, and no inverter. All power flows through the base unit.
To use it, you’ll need a GenBox 1800 Portable Power Station. Everything else — the parallel cable included — is in the box.
Expandable to 5,120Wh
The GenBox 1800 supports up to four expansion packs through its Extra Battery Port. With all four connected, total system capacity reaches 5,120Wh. Each pack adds the same 1,024Wh, so you can start with one and expand later.
Connects in Seconds
The parallel cable is in the box. Power down both units, connect the cable to the Extra Battery Port, and power back on. The main unit displays how many packs are connected, then charging and discharging resume as one system. No tools, no electrician, no configuration.
Always power down the power station and the battery packs before connecting or disconnecting. Never connect or disconnect the cable while the system is in use.
Power Shared Automatically
Once connected, the system balances power across every unit based on how much charge each one is holding. During charging, the lower packs draw more. During discharge, the fuller packs give more. Balancing stops on its own when the levels are close. You don’t manage any of it — you just get a larger battery.
Built for Years of Daily Use
The GenBox 1800B uses 40135 LiFePO4 cells rated for 4,000 charge cycles, the same chemistry as the rest of the Ionic lineup. A 5-bar LED indicator on the front shows remaining charge at a glance, one bar per 20%. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the pack on or off.
Stacking and Placement
Packs can be stacked vertically or placed side by side. For taller configurations, place the stack against a wall and combine horizontal and vertical stacking rather than building a single high column.
